Memorial services for Sherri Ann Powers will be held Friday, August 22, 2025 at 11:00 AMM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Okemah.
Sherri Ann Powers was born April 1, 1962 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Tommy Frank and Mary (Severs) Lee. She passed away in Dayton, Ohio on July 22, 2025 at the age of 63.
Sherri enjoyed planting and growing flowers and playing her music. Sherri always made sure she taught her Creek language to her family and will be missed by those who loved her. “Hvtvm cehecares (I will see you again).
She is preceded in death by her father, Tommy Frank and her fiancé, Clyde Masters.
Sherri is survived by his mother, Mary (Severs) Lee; step-father, Simeon Lee; two sons, Steven Benson Powers (Lindsay) of Dayton, Ohio and Kaleb Micheal Powers of Dayton, Ohio; four daughters, Cheri Leonard (Ryan) of Greenville, Ohio, Crystal Williamson (Jeremy) of Dayton, Savanah Powers of Dayton and Sasha Powers and Gatwood of Dayton; two brothers, Dodson Frank (Marla) of Mustang, Ohio and Tommy Frank Jr. of Okemah; one sister, Tina Cates (John) of Muskogee; 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, aunts, Angeline Wolf (Vernon), Wanda Harjo, Zora Kimble and Lizzie Severs.
Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah, Oklahoma.
