Obituary
Funeral services for Rowe Bean will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel, Okemah, Oklahoma with Rev. Mike Neal officiating.
Rowe Bean was born June 22, 1942, in Okemah, Oklahoma to Frank Bean and Lena (Pugh) Bean. He passed away Friday, August 22, 2025, in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 83.
Rowe was a lifelong resident of the Okemah area. He and Wanda (Powell) Bean were married January 19, 1968, in Okemah. Rowe worked as a farmer and rancher and will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Ryan Bean; two sisters, Norma Smith and Dolly Holman; and three brothers, Frank Jr, Tony, and Billy Bean.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda of the home; one son, Nathan Bean and wife Amanda of Houston, Texas; one brother, Bobby Bean and wife Shirley of Paden, Oklahoma; one sister, Jo Klutts of Eufaula, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Taylor Freidman, Mariah Bean, and Madison Choate; and four great-grandchildren, Mila Freidman, Dawson Freidman, Ashton Montgomery, and Max Montgomery.
Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah, Oklahoma.
