Obituary for Bill Norman

Bill Dean Norman, a resident of Jenks, Oklahoma, passed from this life on October 18, 2025, in Tulsa at the age of 86.

Bill was born on December 20, 1938, in Henryetta, Oklahoma, to Charles and Winnie (Lay) Norman. After proudly serving his country in the United States Navy, Bill began a long and successful career in the banking industry, where he was known for his integrity, professionalism, and dedication.

On March 1, 1957, Bill married the love of his life, Donna (Dodson) Norman, and together they shared 68 wonderful years filled with love, family, and faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandson, Matthew Robertson; and his great-grandchild, Shelby Abbott.

Bill is survived by his devoted wife, Donna Norman of the home; his children: Connie Brill and husband Kent of Morris, Nita Robertson and husband David of Henryetta, and Eddie Norman of Jenks.

He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Stephanie Harjo, Stacey Coale and husband Adam, Samuel Robertson and wife Tiffany, Marshal Andrews and wife Misty, Rodney Brill and wife Armanda, and Kimberly Abbott and husband Eric; and great-grandchildren: Matthew Harjo, Logan Harjo, Ava Harjo, Raigen Ashley, Kash Coale, Adlei Coale, Camden Berryhill, Bishop Berryhill, Dakota Andrews, Dayton Andrews, Austyn Brill, Khiya Brill, Kelby Brill, Ryatt Brill, Haisley Brill, and Brailey Abbott.

He is also survived by his brother, Jerry Norman of Liberty, Missouri, and his sister, Jan Hampton of Wilburton, along with many extended family members and friends.

Bill will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who valued faith, family, and hard work. His warmth, wisdom, and humor touched the lives of many.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at the Dewar First Baptist Church With Rev Ryan Wells, officiating. Interment will be at the Westlawn Cemetery with Military Honors by the US Navy. Services are under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
