Obituary for Leon Ashlock – September 2, 1943 – December 7, 2025

Leon Ashlock, a resident of Henryetta, passed from this life on December 7, 2025, at the age of 82. He was born September 2, 1943, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, to Richard and Minnie (Williams) Ashlock. Leon worked for many years at the glass plant, where he made lifelong friendships before retiring.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Shirley Ashlock; brothers Eldon, Melvin, and Butch Ashlock; and sisters Sharon and Gwen.

Leon is survived by his children, Diana Ashlock-Garvey and Leon Ashlock; four grandchildren; and his brother, Pete Ashlock.

Honoring his wishes, Leon will be cremated. Services are under the direction of Rogers Funeral Home.

Leon will be remembered as a hardworking man who loved his family and lived his life with honesty and simplicity.
