Obituary for Karen R Martin July 2, 1955 – December 3, 2025

Karen R. Martin, a lifelong resident of Henryetta, passed from this life on December 3, 2025, at the age of 70. She was born July 2, 1955, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, to JC and Joyce (Cook) Tyler. Karen married David Martin on November 23, 1973, in Henryetta, and together they built a loving home and family.

Karen worked at Anchor Glass for more than 25 years before retiring. She was known for her strong work ethic, her kindness, and her devotion to her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, JC and Joyce Tyler.

Karen is survived by her husband, David Martin, of the home; children, Aaron Martin of Henryetta and Staci Sadler of Henryetta; grandchildren, Ryan Sadler and Kelsie Sadler; her brother, Kenny Tyler of Henryetta; sisters, Sandra Stephens and Marilyn Brown, both of Henryetta; as well as several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 8, 2025, at the Rogers Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Rogers Funeral Home.
