Obituary for Margaret Davis
It is with joyous hearts that we can say our beloved, Margaret Davis, is running into the arms of her Lord and Savior, made whole by his Promise. She was received into the embrace of those she dearly missed; her mother & father, Martha and Bertram Morris, her brothers Bertram and Chris, and her sweet Gracie.
Her family, friends and those she graced with her ornery antics will miss her immensely, but will delight in cherished memories. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Davis, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, a multitude of extended family and friends, and her kids, Annabelle and Mickey.
From the time she entered into this earthly realm on May 11, 1947, to her heavenly ascent on December 7, 2025, she loved to talk, dance and sing. She always wanted to be a part of the heavenly choir. And, we know she is singing, “Holy, Holy, Holy” the loudest.
Her family wishes to express their boundless gratitude to the unwavering care and love demonstrated by the beautiful souls at the Porta Caeli House and the St. Francis Hospice personnel, and to Rogers Funeral Home for their respectful and immediate response.
“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard. (A.A. Milne) So not goodbye, but until we meet again at the Jordan River.”
At her request no funeral service will be conducted. “No grieving over my broken bodily vessel. Rejoice in a soul at peace.” ~ Margaret “Nonnie”
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rogers Funeral Home.
